Associate Director of Estates and Facilities

Overview

Leeds Beckett University seeks an Associate Director of Estates & Facilities to shape the future of its estate. This senior leadership role reports directly to the Director of Estates & Facilities and will provide strategic and operational leadership across capital development, hard facilities management, statutory compliance, space utilisation and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across capital development, hard facilities management, statutory compliance, space utilisation and sustainability.
• Develop and deliver the Estates Strategy, campus masterplanning and long‑term investment planning.
• Deliver estates capital programmes and ensure hard FM and estates compliance.
• Lead masterplanning, space and property management across a multi‑building portfolio.

Essential Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in a large, complex high‑public‑footfall estate environment.
• Proven track record of delivering estates capital programmes.
• Experience and knowledge of hard FM and estates compliance.
• Experience of masterplanning, space and property management across multiple buildings (advantageous).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and develop high‑performing teams.
