ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

This opportunity would suit engineers ranging from Senior Electrical Engineer through to Associate level, offering exposure to complex multidisciplinary projects within a collaborative and technically strong MEP environment.

The Role

You’ll be involved in:

• Delivering electrical building services design across multiple sectors
• Producing electrical calculations and technical design information
• Supporting projects through technical and delivery stages
• Developing designs using Revit and CAD software
• Attending client, design and coordination meetings
• Supporting peer reviews and technical coordination processes
• Assisting with surveys, reports and project delivery activities

Depending on level, the role may also involve:

• Leading project delivery
• Mentoring junior engineers
• Supporting client management and technical leadership

What They’re Looking For

• Experience within electrical building services design
• Strong technical design capability within UK consultancy environments
• Experience using industry-standard design software
• Previous Revit and CAD experience
• Good communication and project coordination skills
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams

Ideally

• Degree qualified within Building Services or Electrical Engineering
• Chartered or working towards Chartership
• Experience across commercial, residential, hospitality, education or large-scale development projects would be highly beneficial.
