Role Description

The Sales Assistant is responsible for delivering an exceptional luxury retail experience while supporting sales consultants and management in achieving store sales targets. This role requires excellent customer service skills, strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to build meaningful customer relationships that reflect the values and standards of Heera Diamonds.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Greet and welcome customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assist customers throughout their shopping journey and ensure a memorable in-store experience.
  • Support Sales Consultants during customer appointments and sales presentations.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through personalized service.
  • Assist with customer follow-ups, inquiries, and appointment scheduling.
  • Promote company products, services, warranties, and special promotions.

Product Knowledge

  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, jewellery collections, and customization options.
  • Educate customers on product features, quality, craftsmanship, and care instructions.
  • Stay updated on new product launches and industry trends.

Store Operations

  • Ensure merchandise displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and stock counts.
  • Support opening and closing store procedures.
  • Maintain showroom cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Ensure security procedures are followed when handling jewellery and valuable merchandise.

Administrative Duties

  • Accurately update customer information.
  • Assist with preparing quotations, invoices, and customer documentation.
  • Manage appointment calendars and customer records.
  • Support management with daily operational tasks and reporting.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
  • Conduct follow-up calls, emails, and messages to support sales opportunities.
  • Encourage repeat business and referrals through outstanding service.
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when required.

Performance Expectations

  • Meet individual and team sales objectives.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
