Role overview
- Position: Economics Professional – Independent Contractor, Remote
- Commitment: Part-time, ~20 hours/week (potential to extend to 40 hours/week)
- Duration: 1–2 months
- Contribute to developing advanced AI systems for economic workflows. Collaborate with a top AI research lab.
Responsibilities
- Create and assess complex problems in economics across subdomains like microeconomics, macroeconomics, game theory, econometrics, and behavioral economics.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for conceptual accuracy, logical consistency, and domain relevance.
- Provide clear written feedback on economics problem sets and solutions.
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to iterate and improve model performance.
- Ensure academic rigor and precision in all economics content used to train or evaluate AI systems.
Requirements / Qualifications
- PhD in Economics from a top university
- 2+ years of academic or work experience
- Deep subject-matter expertise across core areas of economics
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching, research, or publication experience
