The Role
We are seeking a commercially aware, delivery-focused Health & Safety Manager to support our project teams across a portfolio of live retrofit and fit-out schemes. Reporting into the Group Head of Health & Safety, you will embed a positive safety culture through coaching and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
– Act as the lead H&S representative across multiple live projects
– Support project teams in maintaining compliance with UK H&S legislation
– Coach and guide site teams to manage risk proactively
– Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations
– Develop and review risk assessments and construction phase plans
– Collaborate with project and subcontractor teams to embed H&S culture
– Provide reporting and insights to senior leadership
– Drive continuous improvement across safety performance
Skills & Experience
– Proven H&S Manager experience in fit-out or refurbishment
– Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation (CDM)
– NEBOSH qualification essential; CMIOSH desirable
– Experience within ISO-compliant systems
– Strong stakeholder management skills
– Coaching-led approach with commercial awareness
