Private Client Lawyer (remote)

£50,000 DOE | Remote Working | Full-Time or Part-Time

A growing and highly regarded legal services business is seeking a Private Client Lawyer to join its expanding team. Specialising in complex probate and estate administration matters, the firm has built an excellent reputation within the market and is continuing to invest heavily in its future growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a private client professional looking for flexibility, autonomy and the chance to play a key role in a developing department.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters, ranging from straightforward estates through to more complex cases involving trusts and high-value assets.

The role will involve obtaining Grants of Probate, advising clients throughout the administration process, preparing legal documentation and assisting with estate valuations. Full administrative support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a probate and estate administration caseload from instruction to completion
  • Preparing and submitting applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration
  • Advising clients on probate, estate administration and related private client matters
  • Preparing and filing legal documentation with the relevant authorities
  • Assisting with the valuation of estates, assets and property
  • Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records and file management systems
  • Delivering excellent levels of client care and communication
  • Keeping up to date with developments in private client law and best practice

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, Probate Practitioner or experienced Private Client Lawyer
  • Strong knowledge of probate law and estate administration procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently whilst also contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, client-focused and committed to delivering exceptional service
  • Comfortable taking ownership of matters and contributing to process improvements
