Private Client Solicitor – Wills, Trusts & Inheritance

Overview

I’m working with a well-established law firm in Berkshire that is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor (NQ – 3 years PQE) to join their growing Wills & Inheritance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor to take on their own caseload while developing alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive and progressive environment.

The Role

You’ll manage a varied caseload of private client matters, which will include:

• Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Advising on Inheritance Tax planning
• Handling estate administration and elderly client matters
• Supporting senior members of the team on complex cases
• Playing an active role in business development and networking to enhance the profile of the department

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

• A Newly Qualified Solicitor up to 3 years PQE in Private Client law
• Experienced (or with solid training exposure) in Wills, Probate, LPAs and tax planning
• A strong communicator with excellent client care skills
• Commercially aware with the initiative to manage matters under minimal supervision
• Interested in developing client and referrer relationships through business development activities
