Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

We’re partnering with an ambitious, multi-site distribution organisation on a transformational growth journey, with a clear goal of becoming investment-ready or exit-ready within the next three years. As CHRO, you’ll sit on the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO, and play a critical role in driving organisational scale, leadership capability, culture, and enterprise value.

This is a highly commercial people leadership role where success will be measured by your ability to build an investment-grade people platform that accelerates growth, productivity, EBITDA performance, and shareholder value.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a people strategy aligned to a high-growth, value creation agenda.
  • Partner with the CEO, Board, and Executive Team on organisational design, succession, leadership, and culture.
  • Build scalable talent, leadership, and performance frameworks.
  • Lead workforce planning, people analytics, and HR transformation initiatives.
  • Drive M&A integration, change management, and organisational effectiveness programmes.
  • Establish robust governance, compliance, and investor-ready HR processes across a multi-site operation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a CHRO, HR Director, Chief People Officer, or equivalent executive leader.
  • Strong background in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, wholesale, supply chain, or other operationally intensive sectors.
  • Track record of supporting businesses through rapid growth, transformation, private equity investment, or exit events.
  • Experience leading HR across multi-site organisations and managing M&A integrations.
  • Commercially astute, data-driven, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments.
