Job description Staff Officer – Financial Projects TeamLocation: Newforge Lane Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week Pay Rate: £ per hourAbout the RoleAFBI is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Project Finance Support Officer to support the delivery of the new Integr8 Finance and HR system implementation programme.Working as part of a dynamic project team, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the system is effectively tested, validated, and successfully adopted across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment.Main Purpose of the RoleTo support the delivery of agricultural crop trials on a working research farmTo operate farm machinery and equipment to assist with cultivation, crop establishment, and harvestingTo ensure research plots are maintained to a high standard with accuracy and attention to detailTo contribute to safe, efficient, and compliant farm operationsKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupport Project Team functional leads with requirements gathering data validation, system testing, user acceptance testing, and training activities.Assist in ensuring the new Integr8 Finance and HR solution meets business needs and is fully prepared for successful organisational rollout and adoption.Provide clear verbal and written progress updates to functional and technical leads, or the Project Manager.Maintain accurate records of assigned tasks, milestones, and deliverables.Identify, monitor, and escalate project risks, issues, and opportunities to management promptly.Contribute to meeting tight project deadlines within a structured project delivery framework.Essential CriteriaLevel 4 qualification (HNC or equivalent) or higher ANDMinimum 1 year’s demonstrable experience in a relevant role ( finance support, project support, systems implementation, data analysis).Experience of working effectively within a project team environment, delivering tasks to agreed deadlines.Experience working within a finance or financial systems environment.Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data manipulation and analysis….
