Senior Fire Engineer

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Fire Engineer to join a growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work across a diverse portfolio of projects in the UK and internationally, contributing to high-quality fire engineering solutions throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage medium to large-scale, complex projects, ensuring successful and timely delivery to the highest standards
• Work across a wide range of building types and sectors, both in the UK and globally
• Lead and manage project teams, including mentoring and developing graduates and junior engineers
• Apply fire engineering design and assurance services throughout construction stages
• Engage directly with clients, providing expert advice and confidently resolving construction-related queries
• Support business development by identifying opportunities and building strong client relationships
• Deliver consultancy services focused on practical, ethical, and client-focused outcomes
• Contribute to maintaining technical excellence and quality standards within the wider team

Requirements

• Engineering Council-accredited degree (BEng Hons, MEng, or MSc)
• Associate Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE)
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status (or a clear plan to achieve this)

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling, particularly smoke movement analysis
