Our Client is a growing Company supplying and distributing into engineering, agricultural and construction industries. The Company has ambitious growth plans and would like to appoint a Warehouse Managerwhich will be a key leadership role in the business and growth plans going forward.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage 9-10 warehouse employees
- Ensure the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently
- Make sure hiring, efficiency, motivation, and discipline are in line with company standards and company’s Code of Conduct
- Help out supervisors and staff when needed
- Keep the warehouse safe and clean
- Update and monitor stock levels and oversee cycle counts
- Use the ERP system Intact for appropriate stock management
- Ensure that capacity planning is carried out to facilitate demand
- Monitor picking and packing and identify areas for improvements in the processes and people
- Keep all data accurate and up-to-date
- Always maintain a business improvement mindset
- Plan, implement and complete warehouse projects as discussed with MD/GM
Person Specification:
- Strong leadership and management capability
- Excellent Communication skills are a must for this role
- Motivated and proactive attitude
- Great systems knowledge, a love for processes and strong implementation practices
- Problem solver and critical thinker
- Strong work ethic with a curious mind
- Ability to multi task within a fast paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Good IT skills, especially Excel
