Senior Design Engineer

We’re hiring a Senior Design Engineer to join a growing defence and security company delivering cutting‑edge solutions.

This role sits at the heart of product design and development, working across engineering, sales, and manufacturing to take designs from concept through to delivery. You’ll lead on design, development, technical assurance, and supplier engagement, ensuring solutions meet both performance and regulatory standards.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong background in mechanical or product design (8+ years or equivalent experience)
• Experience within defence, security, or a related industry
• Proficiency in CAD (e.g. SolidWorks)
• Expertise with classic stress analysis and FEA/structural analysis
• Ability to produce and review high-quality technical documentation
• A collaborative mindset with the confidence to drive design decisions
• With, or capable of achieving, UK Security Clearance .
