Guidant Global is proud to partner with a leading UK Ministry of Defence organisation to recruit an experienced Production Test Engineer with a strong Electronic/Electrical engineering background. This role supports the testing and fault diagnosis of electrical and electronic sub‑systems and circuit cards throughout the production lifecycle. You will play a key role in supporting manufacturing test capability, ensuring delivery against programme time, cost and quality targets. An HNC in Engineering or equivalent is essential.
Key Responsibilities:You will collaborate with a small team of dedicated engineers in a dynamic, yet friendly and inclusive manufacturing environment, where you will be responsible for the following tasks: * Provide technical support for manufacturing tests and diagnostics of weapon sub-systems at system and sub-system level. * Deliver Test Engineering support from concept through to Production Readiness and operational release. * Introduce and configure test facilities, ensuring compliance and producing specifications and operator instructions. * Conduct testing and diagnose failures in electrical/electronic systems down to circuit card or component level. * Implement corrective actions promptly to maintain production schedules and resolve technical issues. * Represent Test Engineering at Defect Review Boards to drive timely resolution of quality notifications.
