Private Markets Funds Counsel

Our client, a global investment manager with a wide ranging series of debt strategies, is looking for an ambitious private markets funds lawyer to join their growing London team.

This headcount has been approved at a time of substantial growth at the business.

Requirements:

• A demonstrable track record in a ranked Funds practice, with broad experience supporting GP and LP clients in their fund formation needs across a wide range of private markets funds structures
• In-house experience – including secondments – highly desirable, but not mandatory
• C. 4-7 PQE – strong preference for E&W qualification
• Strength negotiating across IMAs, Distribution and Sales agreements
• A strong academic track record
• Exposure to emerging markets funds work – desirable
• Right to work in the UK
