As Senior Operations Officer (People) you will be part of an integrated team with responsibility for the coordination, implementation, and continuous improvement of a range of operational processes and activities. With a focus on Core Operations (see below), you will work flexibly to ensure the delivery of excellent support for operations, governance and activity as part of the People function within the Business School’s Operations and Research Team. This will include providing administrative and operational support for HR-related processes including staff, casual and academic admin role recruitment, supporting appraisal and staff development processes, updating resources, and support for other People and Culture related activities as required.
Duties will include:
- Coordinate and provide administrative support for local HR-related processes.
- Develop, deliver and coordinate support and activity across a range of areas ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of relevant plans, policies and processes.
- Provide high-level administrative support to relevant members of the School’s senior leadership team.
- Contribute to the planning, management and delivery of projects and initiatives to support School plans and priorities

You will need excellent interpersonal skills, work well in a team, be highly organised, flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced, varied environment. As someone who is self-motivated and has experience of contributing to projects and improving processes, you will help drive forward change and deliver excellent service.
