Junior Law Costs Draftsperson  Fully Remote Up to £39,000 + Benefits 

Are you a junior Law Costs Draftsperson seeking a fully remote role with a highly regarded litigation firm?

Your Key Responsibilities:

n
• Support the firm’s recovery of legal costs by managing litigated fixed fee disputes while also undertaking costs drafting and budgeting work  
• Manage disputes relating to Fixed Recoverable Costs (FRC), including issuing and progressing court proceedings where costs recovery is challenged
• Draft Bills of Costs, Costs Budgets (Precedent H) 
• Prepare high-quality Statements of Costs for summary and detailed assessment

What We’re Looking For:

n
• Up to 5 years’ experience in legal costs drafting & fee disputes 
• Strong background in personal injury and/or clinical negligence costs
• Solid understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules relating to costs

• Experience of Fixed Recoverable Costs regimes (FRC) within Personal Injury matters (including Portal / Non Portal Fast Track and Intermediate Track) 
• Experience drafting Bills of Costs and costs documentation
• Good understanding of CPR and costs procedures
