The Role
We’re hiring a commercially driven Inside Sales Executive to grow a leading cable brand across contractors, specifiers, and project accounts in the UK and export markets.
This is a fast-paced role combining business development, account management, and project tracking, focused on delivering profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new contractor and project-based accounts
- Grow revenue and margin within existing customers
- Increase spend across Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors
- Convert enquiries into profitable sales
- Support BDMs with quotes and pipeline management
- Track projects from pre-tender to completion
- Deliver against sales targets and KPIs
- Provide fast, accurate quotations
- Build relationships with buyers, estimators, and project managers
- Advise on cable selection and CPR compliance
- Resolve customer queries professionally
- Manage pricing and negotiate within agreed frameworks
- Maintain CRM, forecasts, and pipeline accuracy
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
- Work closely with operations, purchasing and logistics
- Promote LV power, control, and fire performance cables
- Identify cross‑selling opportunities
- Support marketing campaigns and trade events
Skills & Experience
- Internal sales experience within electrical or cable distribution
- Knowledge of contractor‑led, project‑based sales
- Understanding xwzovoh of LV cables and CPR regulations
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building ability
- CRM experience and strong organisational skills
