Our client is a growing engineering business seeking a proactive Internal Sales Executive to help drive early‑stage sales activity within the food and drink sector. This role supports structured outbound business development and the generation of qualified opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • The identification and qualification of new sales leads within the food and drink sector.
  • Conducting outbound activity via phone, email and LinkedIn.
  • Researching prospective customers and gathering initial commercial information.
  • Arranging introductory meetings with prospective customers.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM and activity records.

Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, internal sales or lead generation.
  • Confidence with the ability to communicate professionally.
  • Resilience, organisation and attention to detail.
  • A positive, team‑oriented approach.
