Head of Infrastructure Delivery£85,000 – £100,000 + BonusHybrid – Manchester x2 days a week
We’re partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Head of Infrastructure Delivery to lead the successful delivery of a complex TechOps portfolio, covering infrastructure, platforms, networks, operational technology and business-critical technology services.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a technically credible delivery professional who can drive accountability across TechOps, challenge senior stakeholders and ensure the successful delivery of high-profile infrastructure and technology programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of the organisation’s TechOps portfolio, including infrastructure, platform and operational technology initiatives.
- Own programme planning, prioritisation, governance and dependency management across multiple concurrent projects.
- Partner with senior leaders across Infrastructure, Networks, Platform Operations, DBA, Service Management and SRE teams.
- Drive change control, risk management and delivery reporting across the technology function.
- Ensure resilience, availability and operational readiness are embedded throughout programme delivery.
About You
- Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure or TechOps delivery programmes.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, networks, platforms, databases and operational technology environments.
- Ability to influence and challenge senior technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing complex programme roadmaps, dependencies and resource planning.
- Previous experience within a 24/7 operational, regulated or enterprise-scale environment would be highly beneficial.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven experience leading large-scale Infrastructure, Technology Operations (TechOps) or Technical Delivery programmes.
- Strong background across Infrastructure, Networks, Platforms, Databases, Service Management and SRE environments.
- Experience managing complex portfolios, programme roadmaps, dependencies and resource planning.
- Demonstrable success delivering business-critical infrastructure and transformation projects within enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge and influence senior technical leaders.
- Experience implementing governance, change control, risk management and delivery reporting frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, planning and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience within a 24/7, highly regulated or mission-critical environment is advantageous.
