Audit and Compliance Officer

- Salary: £28,316 to £29,754 per annum
- Hours: 37 hours per week

At the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group we have an exciting opportunity for an Audit and Compliance Officer to join our Funding, Timetabling and Student Data team. We are looking for someone to play a key role in contributing to internal and external audits, and to ensure we compliance and accuracy through audits and robust processes.
Responsibilities
- Support on internal and external audits as related to funding and policy
- Support the carrying out of internal audits of documentation, data and IT systems to ensure full compliance with all aspects of Apprenticeship funding
- Support the tracking, monitoring and reporting of all areas of compliance and highlight anomalies where necessary
- Contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of administrative systems, processes in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- A Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- GCSE in Maths and English grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
- An IT qualification, e.g CLAIT, ECDL or equivalent is desirable but not essential
- Experience of liaising directly with both internal and external customers
