Our client, a reputable primary school located in Huyton, Knowsley, is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join their team as a full-time School Caretaker.
This essential role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school’s facilities, contributing to the overall safety and well-being of the students, staff, and visitors.
As the School Caretaker, you will be expected to perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, the maintenance and upkeep of the school buildings, grounds, and equipment.
This may involve tasks such as carrying out minor repairs, painting and decorating, and ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the premises.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the set‑up and dismantling of equipment for school events and activities, as well as the monitoring and reporting of any health and safety concerns.
The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Prior experience in a similar role or a background in building maintenance is highly desirable, and a willingness to undergo any necessary training to fulfil the duties of the role is essential.
The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from £90,000 to £110,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
