The Role

As a Strategic Growth Partner, you will shape and scale ourData & AIfootprint across theUK Financial Services & Insurance (FSI)sector. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing growth role that combinesC‑suite advisory,go‑to‑market ownership, andpractice building.

You’ll help banks, insurers, wealth managers, and capital markets firms define and deliver their data and AI transformation agendas by blending strategic business insight, AI technology adoption, and ecosystem partnerships.

You likely start in consulting, build credibility in a vertical (banking/ insurance) or technical discipline (data/ AI/ cloud), and evolve into someone who owns relationships and drives market growth.

This role works in collaboration with the Sales team to develop and progress opportunities. The Strategic Growth Partner provides sector insight, executive access, and proposition leadership, while Sales manages account ownership, opportunity tracking, and commercial administration.

Job location: London (Canary Wharf), UK (Hybrid) Contract type: Permanent Target start date: May 2026 Working hours: Full-time (40h/week) / Flexible Compensation: £85K to £115K per year

Note: All applications must be submitted in English.

What You’ll Do

Trusted Advisor & Outcomes

  • Advise senior stakeholders (ExCo/SMT) across retail and wholesale banking, wealth and asset management, insurance, and payments on data and AI.

  • Translate strategy into measurable outcomes: margin improvement, risk reduction, regulatory readiness, faster decision‑making, and better customer journeys.

Go-to-Market & Alliances

  • Own the FSI GTM: market mapping, proposition design, campaigns, and pipeline development with Sales, PreSales, Marketing, Alliances, and Delivery teams.

  • Activate partnerships with traditional data & AI vendors (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Alteryx, Qlik) and FSI‑focused platforms (e.g., Finbourne, Aladdin) to co‑sell, co‑market, and accelerate delivery.

Commercial Leadership

  • Responsible for driving FSI demand generation in partnership with the Sales team (not direct line management).

  • Work closely with Sales/BDMs to shape pursuits, craft propositions, and open doors at senior levels.

  • Lead strategic pursuits: shape POVs, frame and respond to RFPs with compelling value narratives and robust delivery approaches.

Client Access & Expansion

  • Open doors and progress MSAs with priority FSI accounts; jointly expand within groups via group-level frameworks and multi-entity rollouts.

  • Build senior networks (CIO/CDO/CRO/COO/Chief Data & AI Officers) and nurture multi-threaded relationships.

  • Position Keyrus for enterprise-wide FSI transformational programs, embedding data-driven and AI-enabled decision-making, investment, client advisory, and ESG data hubs.

Practice & Offerings

  • Co-create differentiated Data & AI offerings (e.g., AI governance & model risk, modern data platforms, data products, GenAI/agentic AI use cases, MLOps).

  • Support Keyrus in identifying attractive UK FSI market segments and defining corresponding competitive positioning and differentiators, leveraging current strengths.

  • Coach and scale high-performing teams; embed delivery discipline, reusable assets, and referenceable outcomes.

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

  • £5–10m qualified pipeline built across 9–15 target FSI accounts, with £2–4m closed revenue (mix of advisory + delivery).

  • 3–5 MSAs or preferred supplier statuses signed/expanded in Tier‑1/Tier‑2 banks/insurers/asset managers.

  • 3–4 repeatable propositions packaged (deck + case + delivery blueprint) and activated with partners.

  • NPS ≥ 60 on engagements; project satisfaction on/above target with no red accounts.

What We’re Looking ForYour Experience

  • 15+ years in consulting/advisory or strategic GTM roles, including time at a Big 4 or equivalent consultancy company.

  • Proven track record driving growth, partnerships, or market positioning in FSI.

  • Deep familiarity with modern data platforms and AI (e.g., data products, governance, lineage, MDM, ML/GenAI, MLOps) and one or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, Snowflake).

  • Comfortable operating in regulated UK FSI contexts (e.g., risk & controls, data privacy, conduct/customer duty, model governance).

  • Confident shaping executive narratives, collaborating with SMEs on solution architectures, and aligning commercial structures with procurement.

Mindset & Ways of Working

  • Strategic and commercially sharp with a builder’s mindset; thinks in plays, offers, and pipelines.

  • Trusted‑advisor posture: credible, empathetic, curious, and collaborative.

  • Bilingual in boardroom and delivery: can switch from ExCo conversations to steering teams and sprint reviews.

  • Works collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and Alliances — accountable for growth outcomes, not line management of sales teams.

  • Connects the dots between business challenges and data-driven possibilities and knows how to make them real.
