The Role – Teach With Purpose

You’ll work with secondary-aged pupils (KS3–KS4, sometimes KS5) with a range of additional needs, including:

  • Autism (ASC)
  • Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Moderate to complex learning difficulties
  • Speech, language and communication needs

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering adapted, engaging lessons in your specialist subject
  • Supporting pupils to achieve EHCP targets and personal milestones
  • Creating structured, inclusive and supportive learning environments
  • Differentiating content to suit a wide range of abilities and needs
  • Collaborating with support staff, SEN teams, and external professionals

What You’ll Bring

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (any subject specialism)
  • A strong understanding of adaptive teaching and differentiation
  • Experience with or interest in SEN, SEND or alternative provision
  • A patient, resilient, and nurturing teaching style
