A lovely family based in Chobham are seeking an experienced and reliable after‑school nanny housekeeper to assist with the care of their two children aged 2½ years old and 6 years old, while helping to maintain the smooth running of the home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone warm, organised and confident, balancing childcare and housekeeping duties.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, nurturing and able to manage busy afternoon routines with ease. A confident driver is essential for school and nursery‑related duties, and candidates must also be comfortable around pets. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are required.
Responsibilities
- Collect the children from school and nursery.
- Support afternoon and evening routines.
- Plan engaging, age‑appropriate activities.
- Prepare meals and snacks for the children.
- Help with homework and school preparation.
- Perform general housekeeping and maintain tidiness throughout the home.
- Do laundry, ironing and household organisation.
- Keep children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised.
- Occasionally perform pet‑related duties when required.
- Help ensure the household runs smoothly on a daily basis.
