Are you a motivated Property Litigation Solicitor looking to build your career with a highly regarded regional law firm that combines ambitious growth with a genuinely supportive culture?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an NQ to 5 years’ PQE solicitor to join a well-established and expanding Property Litigation team based in Cambridge. The team advises a diverse client base, including private individuals, landlords, tenants, housing providers, developers, and commercial organisations on a broad range of contentious property matters.
This role offers excellent exposure to high-quality work, early responsibility, and the opportunity to develop specialist expertise within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
You will work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on a varied caseload, including:
- Residential landlord and tenant disputes
- Housing management and occupation-related matters
- Possession proceedings and enforcement actions
- Adverse possession claims
- Restrictive covenant disputes
- Private nuisance and trespass claims
- Boundary and neighbour disputes
- Dilapidations and property condition issues
- Mixed-use property disputes
- Advising colleagues and clients on complex property-related issues arising from transactions and housing management.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage their own matters while receiving ongoing supervision and support to further develop their technical and commercial skills.
About You
Applications are welcomed from newly qualified solicitors through to those with up to 5 years’ post-qualification experience.
You will ideally have:
- Experience of property litigation and/or housing management work gained during training or post-qualification
- Knowledge of residential landlord and tenant law
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent client care and communication abilities
- A practical and commercial approach to advising clients
- The confidence to manage straightforward matters independently while recognising when support is required
- A genuine interest in developing a career in property litigation
