Street Works Technician

Street works Technician needed in Taunton. Paying £13.47 per hour, reference OR102646. Full‑time hours on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the assessment of street works permits and support network coordination processes.
• Provide basic technical advice under the guidance of senior colleagues.
• Use digital tools, mapping systems and databases to manage information.
• Respond to and manage emails and enquiries.
• Prepare maps, plans, tables and reports.
• Support colleagues with administrative tasks and accuracy checking.
• Liaise with utility companies and contractors working on behalf of the organisation.
• Handle enquiries from members of the public and help resolve urgent highways issues.
• Attend meetings and carry out occasional site visits as required.
