Mencap is looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our fantastic team in Borehamwood. As a Support Worker, you will make a real and lasting difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of individuals, each with their own unique strengths, personalities, and support needs. Your role will include supporting everyday activities, offering emotional encouragement and companionship, and building positive, meaningful relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with learning disabilities in everyday activities.

- Ensure safe and person‑centred support in an inclusive environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
- Positive, empathetic, person‑centred approach.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Enhanced DBS check and suitable references.

Working Hours & Pay
Day shifts: 07:00 – 22:00.
Sleep‑ins: 22:00 – 07:00 – Enhanced flat‑rate payment of £64.20 per sleep‑in.
