Overview

Assistant Manager at Pret. We are makers of delicious food, organic coffee and big ideas across 750+ shops in 20+ countries. As an Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations, lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service and consistently high-quality food, and foster a positive and inclusive work environment built on teamwork and camaraderie.

Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Help lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service and consistently high-quality food.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment built on teamwork and camaraderie.
  • Lead from the front to ensure exceptional customer experiences and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist in training and developing team members, helping them grow professionally within Pret.
  • Work closely with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to contribute to efficient service.
  • Uphold health and safety standards and support stock control through stock ordering, stock takes, and waste reduction.
  • Be a proactive in-store champion, coaching and mentoring the team to maintain Pret standards and high spirits.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or hospitality, with the ability to lead a team, drive profit, and deliver great customer experiences while maintaining energy and standards.

Salary and Benefits

  • £34,654 – £35,654
  • 15% quarterly bonus
