Learning Support Assistant TA2 (EAL)
Required for 1st September 2026. Permanent, 27.5 hours per week (worked over 5 days, Monday to Friday). Term time only + 4 teacher education days (TEDs).
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teaching Assistant to support students in developing their English language skills within a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Working closely with class teachers, you will help deliver targeted support, adapt resources to meet individual needs, and encourage confidence and participation across the curriculum. The ideal candidate will be patient, culturally aware, and committed to promoting positive learning experiences for students from diverse backgrounds.
This is a great opportunity to join an experienced and motivated team of LSAs to specifically work and support our EAL (English as an Additional Language) students in mainstream classes.
The salary is paid at TA2, points 5-6, £16,628 to £16,892 per annum (£25,583 -£25,989 full time equivalent). Pay award pending.
