Learning Support Assistant / LSA – Minehead

Location: MineheadHours: Full-time (08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday)Salary: £90 – £110 per dayStart: ASAP

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant / LSA to join an Ofsted rated “Outstanding” primary school in Minehead. This full‑time role supports pupils throughout the school day, both in and out of the classroom, helping them flourish academically, socially and emotionally within a warm, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is valued.

The Role

  • General Learning Support Assistant / LSA
  • Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small‑group basis
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and social development

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has previous experience working with SEN children in a primary setting
  • Is patient, reliable and passionate about supporting young learners
  • Can work effectively as part of a team
  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
