Engage Education are working with a fantastic secondary school in the Tameside area who are eager to find a flexible, outgoing and reliable Student Support Mentor to provide dedicated 1:1 academic and emotional support to KS3 & KS4 students in need of a consistent foundation of support.

Role Information
- Creating tailored academic support outside of classroom for students with SEMH and behavioural difficulties
- Focus on building meaningful and productive rapport with students across academic year
- Monitoring student progress and feeding back to relevant department leads
- Located in the Tameside area
- Paid £95 – £100 per day during term time
- September 2026 start – Monday to Friday role with usual school working hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 2:2 UK based degree – 2026 graduates welcome
- Naturally outgoing and engaging individual with interest in teaching
- Enhanced DBS on update service desirable but NOT mandatory
- Available to start immediately pending regulatory vetting checks
