Hours & Shifts

36 hours per week. Shifts: 8:30-21:00 and 2 weekends of a month.

Job Summary

Byron Lodge is a fast‑paced and lively environment that supports up to 14 adults with Acquired Brain Injuries. As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day‑to‑day support and routine of the people within the service, helping them to live a fulfilling life.

Responsibilities

  • Day‑to‑day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
  • Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must be over 18 years old. A UK driving licence is required. Dependent on experience and qualification.
