Radiology Clerical Officer

We have a vacancy for Clerical Officer to join the team at Northwick Park Hospital Radiology Department. The post holder will provide a comprehensive and efficient reception and examinations booking service to patients attending the Imaging Department, ensuring compliance with national waiting time standards and managing an efficient process of initial patient assessment for all Imaging request forms.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for all patients arriving for examinations and for general public inquiries about Imaging services.
• Serve as the first point of contact for medical staff, visitors, and delegates with appointments or meetings within the department.
• Handle telephone queries from patients, GPs, consultants and other hospitals, including changes to appointments, conflicting information, requests for images on CD, and field calls to radiologists and other staff.
• Ensure all calls into the Call Centre are answered within the agreed time and meet the Trust telephone standard.
