We are currently recruiting for a Retail Supervisor to work the following schedule: 40 hours a week, working 5 out of 6 days Monday – Saturday (flexibility may be needed). Annual Salary £32,000.

About The Role

In order to fully support the growth of our store we are looking to recruit a Retail Supervisor to help the Store Management team oversee the daily operations. The role involves overseeing a team of Retail Sales Advisors, driving sales targets and KPIs, ensuring health and safety compliance and maintaining high standards of presentation and customer service. You will gain commercial awareness and understanding of how Nisbets operates worldwide, while progressing your career within a supportive environment.

What will I be doing as Retail Supervisor?

  • Responsible for Opening and Closing of the store in a manager’s absence.
  • Responsible for daily floor plan, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time to drive results.
  • Acts as a role model to the team, demonstrates excellent end-to-end customer service and motivates the team to do the same.
  • Plans and executes motivational, inspirational, informative team briefs throughout each day.
  • Understands KPIs and how they are used to drive Store results.
  • Takes ownership of contributing to store sales targets and KPIs including Revenue, Margin, Conversion, Footfall, Quotes and ATV to maximise profitability of the store.
  • Leads Store Outreach, ensuring activities and resources are incorporated into the daily plan.
  • Identifies revenue potential within the local area including regular and new business opportunities.
  • Performs general shop floor duties, including stock replenishment and processing deliveries.
  • Ensures the Store consistently exceeds visual merchandising standards including promotional areas to meet compliance.
  • Accurately completes stock auditing processes in line with company compliance.
  • Ensures the team processes customer payment transactions in line with policy.
  • Ensures end of day reconciliation is completed in full while investigating and reporting discrepancies in line with policy.
  • Completes a daily floor walk document to ensure Store standards are consistently met and the team understands its importance.
  • Conducts weekly role play scenarios to develop the team’s sales, conflict resolution and outreach skills.
  • Adheres to daily operating checklist, delegating and following up with the team to ensure smooth running of the Store.
  • Treats all visitors with respect and consideration, using training to handle difficult situations positively.
