KS2 Teacher with Responsibility for Inclusion MPS 1-6 / UPS 1-3 (£32,916 to £51,048 per annum) + TLR 2A (£3,527 per annum), full time and permanent.
Are you a passionate and experienced Key Stage 2 teacher with a strong commitment to inclusive practice? Do you want to play a key role in shaping provision for pupils with SEND and supporting behaviour across a nurturing, values‑driven school? We are seeking to appoint an excellent KS2 practitioner to join our committed team and strengthen our SEND and Inclusion Team.
About the role
- The successful candidate must:
- be able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice in KS2
- be committed to high‑quality inclusive teaching for all pupils
- work collaboratively as part of our Inclusion Team
- share responsibility for behaviour across the school, promoting a consistent and relational approach
Key responsibilities (TLR)
Alongside the Inclusion Team, you will:
- support the strategic leadership of inclusion across the school
- contribute to the development and oversight of our PDC (Pathway Development Centre) provision
- work closely with the SENCo and Assistant SENCo to develop mainstream SEND provision
- help ensure consistent, high‑quality behaviour systems and practice across school
- support staff in adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learner
What we are looking for
- has successful experience teaching in KS2
- can demonstrate experience or emerging experience in middle leadership
- has a strong understanding of, and commitment to, inclusive practice and SEND
- is motivated to develop expertise further, ideally with a SEND qualification (or interest in undertaking one)
- is a collaborative, reflective practitioner willing to support and challenge colleagues
