Our nationwide Non Mechanical division hire a range of equipment including crowd control barriers, scaffolding and road plates to the events industry alongside our more traditional business sectors within construction, utilities and infrastructure. The HGV Driver is responsible for loading, delivering and collecting equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner whilst driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times. When on customer sites, the driver may need to carry out hire equipment demonstrations and must ensure all relevant checks and administration are completed accurately.
About the role
The HGV Driver will efficiently manage vehicle loading and unloading, transport equipment safely, perform demonstrations, and keep accurate hire documentation.
About you
- Significant experience working in an HGV driving role that involves loading, delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites.
- Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and a valid Digital Tachograph card.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
