We’re on the hunt for a detail-loving, number-crunching Payroll Assistant on a 6-9 month Fixed term contract to join our buzzing PayrollTeam. Payroll Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous payroll experience to join an expanding company whilst working collaboratively within the team for a 6 Month fixed term Contract
Duties (Include but not confined to):
- Collating information from different people/sources.
- Processing tronc onto payroll software.
- Running reports from payroll system.
- Converting Excel/CSV into correct format for upload.
- Uploading of data into payroll software and subsequent reconciliation.
- Processing Absences on payroll software.
- Processing team expenses through payroll software.
- Responding to team enquiries.
- Checking right to work details.
- Support the Payroll Manager with any ad-hoc duties.
Person Profile
- Proven experience processing payroll.
- Good knowledge of statutory payments.
- Proficient inexcel.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
- Good communication and client service skills.
- Office based in Chester – must be able to drive due to location.
