Slitting Operative

Our client is a leading global supply chain specialising in labels and packaging solutions.

Due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Slitting Operative for their Kings Lynn site to start as soon as possible on a permanent basis.

Working Hours

• Early shift – Monday to Friday – 6am – 2pm
• Night shift – Sunday to Friday – 10pm – 6am
• Late shift – Monday – Friday – 2pm – 10pm

Duties To Include

• Ensure that company written procedures are adhered to at all times
• Machine is to be set up and run as to the specification sheet
• Ensure planned production outputs are met
• Ensure that regular checks are made whilst the machine is running
• Run machine following general operating specification & report any issues
• Keep a log of all your jobs and total produced by way of SFDC system
• Ensure all work is labelled clearly and correctly and of the highest quality
• Ensure that waste is kept to a minimum at all times
• Use forklift truck on completion of training for the collection of materials
