Job Overview
Provide antenatal, low‑risk intrapartum, and postnatal care to women in the community or home setting. Work as part of a supportive team with links to Family Nurse Partnership, children’s centres, family support workers, GP’s and health visitors.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of women and their families, delivering holistic care from conception to parenthood.
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care in the home or hospital settings.
- Attend on‑call rota, including weekdays, weekends and overnight duties.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide timely care.
- Act as team leader when requested.
- Participate in training and professional development sessions.
Qualifications
- Band 6 Midwife.
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle for travel requirements.
- Strong commitment, caring approach and ability to work within a diverse community.
