Paediatric Clinical Lead

As the Paediatric Clinical Lead, you will support and lead nursing and care staff to deliver safe and high-quality care to children requiring complex care.

Shifts

Monday to Friday flexibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Act in a professional manner and adhere to the NMC code.
• Adhere to Care First 24’s policies and procedures.
• Support the registered manager in providing leadership to the care and support staff.
• Oversee the placement of the right staff to the right complex care service user, ensuring a professional and safe service and incorporating Care First 24 Homecare’s policy on Patient Safety and Risk Management.
• Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing and care staff.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Contribute to a regional or local on-call rota and cover for colleagues.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Skills

• Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in paediatric nursing.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Proficiency in medication administration.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid nursing license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in paediatric nursing.
• Valid driving licence and own transport required.
