Responsibilities

  • Work with the Partner & Director team to deliver high‑quality tax audit services to the firm’s largest audit clients, with primary focus on the public interest market.
  • Provide exposure to complex UK and international tax matters and build relationships with overseas member firms.
  • Deliver tax reporting and complex corporate tax compliance services, supporting the wider firm on related projects and advisory work.
  • Act as key contact for tax reporting and tax audit matters, developing thought leadership and training on changes in accounting standards.
  • Support operational management of the tax reporting team, including resourcing, training and quality reviews.
  • Engage in business development activities to support the firm’s go‑to‑market strategy for audit and tax growth.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team and grow your career in a way that works for you.

Qualifications

Minimum: Professional qualification (CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with post‑qualification experience and a desire to build a specialism in tax reporting.

  • Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and a working knowledge of international concepts.
  • Strong tax accounting knowledge with particular familiarity of IAS12 and FRS102.
  • Experience undertaking tax audits as a specialist or expert.
  • Experience working within a professional services environment and managing complex assignments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience reviewing work and supervising people in a tax environment.
  • Eagerness to develop deep knowledge of the firm’s services and capabilities.
