KS1 Primary Cover Teacher – Doncaster

Academics are working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Doncaster who require dedicated KS1 Primary Cover Teachers on a temporary, ongoing supply basis.
This role offers flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to work across different Key Stage 1 classrooms while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Position: KS1 Primary Cover Teacher
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £130 – £190 per day (paid via PAYE – no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
Responsibilities
As a KS1 Primary Cover Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons across Years 1 and 2, supporting pupils as they develop key literacy, numeracy and social skills.
Working on supply allows you to experience a variety of school environments while continuing to make a positive impact on children’s learning and development.
This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs seeking flexible teaching opportunities within Doncaster primary schools.
- Deliver high-quality lessons across KS1 classes
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Support pupils’ academic and personal development
- Maintain effective behaviour management strategies
- Assess learning and provide feedback where required
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Strong classroom management skills
- Positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
