Cleansing Operatives play a key role in ensuring that theCounty is a clean and welcoming place for residents, businesses, and visitorsto enjoy. They are responsible for removing a wide array of materials from theroad network and across the public realm.

The role requires a wide variety of cleansing functions such aslitter picking, emptying of litter/dog waste bin, graffiti removal, fly tipsremoval, household bulky collections,

domestic/commercial bin deliveries andcleaning of public conveniences to assist in the cleansing of public and openspaces as well as loading on front-line refusing collection vehicles as andwhen required.

Any other duties will be required to support operationalrequirements as and when they arise.
