What you need to know


Qualification: You must hold a Level 1 General or Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Qualification to apply for this post.


Hours: We have a variety of hours available from bank hours to 20hrs per week. Examples of our current vacancies include:


Tuesd ay 3:45 – 8pm Palace of Art


Wed nesday 3:45 – 8pm Kelvin Hall/Palace of Art


Thu rsday 3:30 – 6:30pm Kelvin Hall


Thu rsday 3:45 – 8pm Palace of Art


Fri day 3:45 – 8pm Kelvin Hall


Sat urday 9 – 5:30pm Palace of Art


Contract type: Permanent and Staff Bank (work on an as-needed basis, ideal if you need flexibility)


Pay details: The listed salary is for a full-time role. If you’re applying for a part-time or bank job, we will calculate your pay on a pro-rata basis. We offer a competitive salary ranging from £26,233.14 to £27,837.09 (pro-rata) per year which equates to approx. £14.37 to £15.25 per hour.


Location: City-wide, with your main base discussed at interview.


What you’ll do


As a Gymnastics Coach, you’ll be a part of a Gymnastics Participation Team, reporting to the Sports Participation Officer. You’ll play an essential role in delivering gymnastics sessions within our Glasgow Life Sport Gymnastics Programme. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference.

Who you are


We’re looking for someone with the right skills who brings energy to the role. If the following sounds like you,


A UKCC level 1 (or equivalent) qualified in either General or Artistic Gymnastics


Experience and knowledge of gymnastics coaching


The ability to work during our busy periods during evenings and weekends.
