Occupational Health Nurse – Flu Vaccine Locum

Overview: Dream Medical is partnering with a large healthcare provider in Birmingham to administer flu vaccines across England, Scotland and Wales during the flu season, starting from the end of September to around mid-December. The role involves providing one-to-one consultancy and delivering vaccines at multiple client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer an average of 16 flu vaccines per hour.
• Attend clinics of at least 3 hours each.
• Travel between sites as required, with reimbursement of £25p per mile.
• Ensure all vaccine supplies, sharps disposal, and documentation are handled on-site with temperature‑regulated storage.

Requirements:

• NMC registration with PIN.
• Occupational Health Nursing or Practice Nursing experience.
• Completed Immunisation clinical update.
• Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last year.
