Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Officer to provide essential coordination and delivery support across two major capital projects.
The role is split between both programmes:
- Three days per week supporting MQPR delivery
- Two days per week supporting the Fashion Museum Bath capital programme
In this role you will:
- Oversee project administration and documentation
- Support procurement and grant‑funded processes
- Coordinate consultation and stakeholder engagement
- Manage surveys and technical logistics
- Produce communications and project updates
- Maintain trackers, reporting tools and programme information
- Provide cross‑team support to ensure both programmes run smoothly and remain well coordinated
You will play a key role in ensuring both programme strands run smoothly, information is well organised and teams have the support they need to deliver complex, high‑impact work.
About the Fashion Museum Bath Programme
The Fashion Museum Bath holds one of the world’s most significant fashion collections, spanning 400 years. Work is underway to deliver an ambitious new museum opening in 2030, transforming access to the collection with new exhibitions, displays and learning spaces. Your role will provide procurement support for this multiyear capital project.
About the Milsom Quarter Public Realm Project (MQPR)
MQPR is a flagship regeneration initiative reshaping the streets and spaces around the new Fashion Museum, including a major new public square. Your involvement will include contributing to the delivery of the project’s key proposal improvements.
About You
You are an organised, confident and proactive project officer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys supporting complex, multidisciplinary built‑environment and cultural projects.
Qualifications
- Experience in project support or coordination (preferably in construction, heritage, built environment, or public‑sector projects)
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Ability to prepare graphics, consultation materials or visual project documents
- Excellent organisation, documentation and logistics skills
- Confidence working with technical teams, designers, engineers, and council partners
- Ability to manage workloads across multiple workstreams
- Knowledge of council or grant‑funded procurement
- This role offers hybrid and flexible working, with Bath as your main base and access to workspace at Keynsham Civic Centre
