A well-established engineering contractor in London to recruit a Geotechnical Project Manager to support a growing pipeline of ground investigation and infrastructure projects.
This role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for project delivery, client management, and site operations within a structured and supportive team.
The Role
You will manage geotechnical and ground investigation projects from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, and within budget.
Key responsibilities
- Managing ground investigations and site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors, including drilling teams
- Preparing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements
- Overseeing project programmes, budgets, and resources
- Producing and reviewing factual and interpretative reports
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Requirements
- Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering or similar
- 5-10 years’ experience in geotechnical engineering or ground investigation
- Experience managing projects and site works
- Strong technical reporting skills
- Good client-facing and communication ability
- Full UK driving licence
