Job DescriptionA fantastic chartered accountancy practice based in Sittingbourne is searching for an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior to join their firm, as a key addition with increasing responsibility and career development on offer, as part of this successful team.

The role would include:

• Assisting with audits, including planning and field work.
• General bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns.
• Preparation of management accounts.
• Preparation of forecasts and reporting.
• Preparation of year-end statutory accounts.
• Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns for individuals and companies
• Payroll preparation for weekly and monthly payrolls
• Supporting the wider team with ad hoc duties as needed.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 12 months experience and studying towards ACCA or ACA
• A practical audit and accounts experience gained from an accountancy practice
• A knowledge of various software packages
• Strong communication and team working skills
• Experience in direct contact with clients would be preferred

RequirementsACA/ACCA studying or qualified by experience Experience in audit fieldwork, or potentially planning audits. Client-facing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
