Senior Event Planning Manager (BAFTA 195 Piccadilly)

Location: Hybrid, Soho, London

Contract: Full Time

Upto £45,000 per annum gross (inclusive of a financial award & service charge)

Description

The Senior Event Planning Manager plays a key role in delivering exceptional client events at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, leading the planning and coordination of a diverse portfolio of corporate and private hire events.

As a senior member of the Event Planning team, this role is responsible for managing complex and high-profile events from contract stage through to delivery, ensuring the highest operational standards and client experience. Working closely with the Deputy Head of Event Planning, the Senior Event Planning Manager will provide expert planning support, mentor and coach colleagues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and event delivery standards.

The role requires strong commercial awareness, identifying opportunities to maximise event revenue through strategic upselling, supplier collaboration and exceptional client management, while maintaining the prestige and reputation of the BAFTA brand.

Who you are?

  • You’ll have significant event planning experience within a venue or events environment, ideally within the London market
  • You’ll be experienced in planning complex, high-profile corporate and private events
  • You’ll have a proven track record of generating additional revenue through upselling and event enhancements
  • Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues within a team environment
  • Strong knowledge of event operations, planning processes and venue logistics
  • Experience working collaboratively with suppliers, technical teams and catering operations
  • Experience using event management systems such as salesforce or delphi (desirable)
