North Wales & Chester (allocated postcode areas)

£30,000-£35,000 basic + commissionOTE £40,000-£50,000+

This is a field-based, permanent role, ideal for an engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy and being trusted to manage their own area.

Responsibilities

  • Installation and maintenance of fire and security systems across your allocated postcode area
  • Servicing and fault finding across commercial and managed premises
  • Working independently as a lone engineer in the field
  • Representing the business on-site with a strong focus on customer service
  • Reporting daily into the Service Engineering Manager

No two days are the same; one day you may be installing extinguishers, the next servicing a commercial fire or intruder alarm system. What stays consistent is the importance of quality, professionalism and safety.

Working Hours & Call-Out

  • Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Call-out rota: Yes, currently 1 in 8 weeks

What Theyre Looking For

This role would suit someone already working in a fire and/or security service or installation environment, or an engineer keen to broaden their skill set with structured training.

Key requirements:

  • Experience in a similar fire & security role
  • Willingness to work across fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and extinguishers
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Confident communicating with customers face-to-face and by phone
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working alone
  • Strong work ethic and pride in delivering quality work
  • Ability to manage your own workload with minimal supervision

Full training is provided across multiple systems, with further development encouraged.

  • £30,000-£35,000 basic salary (DOE)
